Indian & Mediterranean Restaurant · Downtown New Braunfels, TX
7 Monks Cafe is New Braunfels' first Indian restaurant, opened in October 2019 by Rashmi Bhat and her mother Neeta. The name tells the whole story: "7" for the seven continents, "Monks" for calm and peace, and "Café" to bring together cuisines from around the world.
Every recipe comes from Neeta's home kitchen — inspired by her roots in Goa, India, and refined through decades of cooking for family and friends. The menu spans traditional Indian curries, Mediterranean favorites, and everything in between.
All base sauces are made fresh daily, vegetarian and gluten-free. Whether you're a lifelong Indian food lover or you've never tried tikka masala, there's a seat at our table for you.
